Technology introduction: this technology is applied in the reinforcement project of 17 bridges (30m-span/60m-span simply-supported bridges) in the state expressway at the section of Tangail District-Bogra District; it solved the problems of bridge deck cracks and insufficient lateral load and avoided many risks. It brings huge economic benefit on the aspects of economy, quality and schedule. Not interrupting the traffic when doing the bridge reinforcement construction came true, ensuring the smooth traffic of east-west direction in Bangladesh. It does great favor in manpower-saving, material resource-saving and financial resource-saving, which is of great significance to the bridge reinforcement technology improvement in China and overseas bridge reinforcement market development. It has great economic benefit, social benefit and wide application prospect.
Innovations: (1) New type ultra-thin combination reinforcement structure of concrete box girder bridge deck,"200GPa CFRP plate (reinforcement layer) + epoxy mortar (transition layer) + SMA (attrition layer)", was firstly put forward. (2) Evaluation parameter of compatibility "epoxy mortar - concrete" structure was firstly put forward. (3) Manufacturing and texting technology of CFRP plate with 200GPa of elastic modulus and 2800MPa of tensile strength was firstly developed; High elastic modulus CFRP plate's domestication production is realized and Low elastic modulus epoxy resin mixtures and thin epoxy mortar of the deck surface.
Technical features: (1) The problems of bridge deck cracks and insufficient lateral load are solved. (2) The problems that applying the epoxy mortar in concrete is easy to be destructed are solved. (3) High elastic modulus CFRP plate's domestication production is realized. (4) Light quality, thin thickness, uncomplicated construction, high function and good reinforcement effect.
Application cases: The research achievements are successfully applied in the following projects: Bridge deck maintenance project of Bangabadhu Bridge in Bangladesh; reinforcement project of 17 bridges in the state expressway in the section of Tangail District-Bogra District.
